             @CherryHugs & all: This looked like Snickers after our last cold walk. She had her bath, was towel dried and is in her chair in front of the heater. She and  I had snacks, I have to pay her to be dried.
    I didn't have lunch due to many postponed errands this morning. My granddaughter could help my son so I've done a lot. Laundry is finishing.

    @Sweet Caroline 1  Did your sister find a dentist? I made an appointment with a new one for next Thursday. I'll have to have another X-ray because my dentist can't text it. If I like the local one that's where I'll continue. It's  30 miles round trip to the old one, plus only one dentist who forgets to text.

Vintage homes and church.  But oh those steps.  We don't do those anymore.  Our home has no steps; not even one.  That's the way we love it. Smiley Happy  Even our vintage church built in the late 1800's has a ramp and an elevator!!!  Heart  Sign of the times.

Hey Babylove @1Snickers and All,    Today my sister made an appointment with that new dentist outfit I was telling you about.  It's for Jan 9th at 1:00pm afternoon.  They take emergencies and walk-ins so if she gets in pain, I'll jot her on down there.  She also needs to go to the skin doctor because of two narley growths on her arm.  Then she should be good.

  My younger sister is having all kinds of terrible issues going on.  Her son is being tested for prostate, bladder, kidney issues.  Today he had many tests made, was given a script for Flomax and goes back for his test results on Jan 27th.  Also, some kind of truck backed into a power pole right there by their house and it knocked out all of her appliances, heater... everything.  It happened the day after Christmas and has just now told me about it.  A new washer/dryer set is being delivered tomorrow.  They have to replace every appliance in the kitchen and I don't know what all else.  I think she told me what truck did it but I can't remember.

Please put in a prayer for my family. Heart Any other time I would feel overwhelmed but I have the strength of a mother bear inside me right now and I'm going to be strong for my family.  I'll keep you posted as things take place.

As for my knee, I think that I've found the doctor that I would like to see me but my family will always come first.  I'll make an appt with him when my sisters and nephew are alright.

You may think that 2025 is starting out bad for us but I see it as the Lord bringing to light a lot of things that need to be seen about.  The power surge could be preventing something that could have been bad.  God works in mysterious ways and I trust him.

I do have one more thing to report.  We have some very fridgid temps in the near future.  My sister tried to put my outside water cover on the hydrant and found it to be leaking.  I called the plumber outfit that all of us sisters have been using and they came out today and replaced the faucet and winter proofed it so I'm good to go for that issue.  I still need to cover my back yard hydrant which is easy to reach.  I'll do that in the morning.

Sending out New Year Love to all of our friends and visitors here!  Big Hugs! Heart

Oh my goodness @mousiegirl,  I've had situations where I've taken too long to post and once I had a long post that I messed up while trying to make corrections.  I'm sorry that happened to you, you must have had a lot to say.  Take a little breather and give us the highlights.  I feel that we're missing some good stuff.  Love you! Smiley Happy Heart

@Sweet Caroline 1    @mousiegirl

I had the same "maximum flood limit reached" pop-up on at least 5 posts today.  When I tried to continue to post over and over the same pop-up appeared.  I decided to close the thread, sign off the forums, and wait before signing back in to the new thread.  Finally,  I was able to post per as usual with no more pop-ups.  It appears QVC is having another glitch with their forum system.  Frustrating!  I hope they have resolved the issue!!!
