[Desert Lily]

I live in E. PA, a little NW of Philly. This is the 1st snow with accumulation since I moved from the West Coast desert 1.5 years ago. It started around noon.

The flakes are really coming down. I'll be heading out for my 1st shoveling in about an hour & plan to do a 2nd one around 7-8pm.

What's the weather doing in your area?

I'm in Bucks Co and yes it's been snowing since around noon.  According to accuweather it wasn't supposed to start until 4pm.

Anyway I had plans to get together with my brother and we went to Doylestown for pizza then back to his house for coffee & dessert & for him to open his Christmas gifts since he had Covid over the holiday.

We had a nice time and I just got home half an hour ago.....it's still coming down and I wonder if it will turn to rain later.

It looks pretty right now but I hope the accumulation is not much more than what we have.

We had your storm in Albuquerque Thursday.  After a day of mist and sleet, about dark it started snowing.  We got 2-3", but our mountains were covered and beautiful.  It was our second snowfall of the season with another expected tomorrow night.

@Desert Lily. If you want snow, you should've  stayed in the desert.  lol

 @Desert Lily  In VA along the coast there's rain, it started about 9 as drizzle so I walked the dog a mile twice. There are large raindrops now and no snow is expected. It's 53 and should stop at 6. 
   Snow can be  beautiful but I don't ski anymore. People here don't know how to drive in it and it's often icy. My roads are hilly and dangerous. So I stay home.

@Desert Lily  I'm in SE PA and enjoying the snow while it lasts. We're expecting it to change over to rain - UGH, I hope not! Just snapped a pic of our patio and noticed the cardinal and his entourage at the feeder.

I am in south central pa....Harrisburg-Hershey area.

We have about 5 inches and it's still coming down fast and furious.

My husband just went out to use the supersized snow blower to clear the drive way and a spot for the dogs in the yard.

It was predicted between only 1-3 inches.

"Brisk" in Phoenix  (35° this a.m.)     I have the plants covered (just in case we have an overnight freeze!)

Rain in New Jersey at 39 degrees! Stay safe in the snow, if you have to drive, or, shovel.
