I need a small powerful vacuum to use daily for cat litter. I have tried many and if they are small and lightweight theydont seem to have enough suction. I want something I can use easily to not have to drag out the full size vacuum each day, because to be honest, I just don't bother😡

@dennylilly Oh what an idiot I am!

I thought you were taking a vac...ation from cat litter.

Was wondering how to do that!

Re: Small vac for cat litter -not cordless

I had a dirt devil hand vac for years and when it stopped working I bought another.

I must say they do not have the same suction at all.

The older model which gave out was heavier, and had fabulous suction.

This newer model does not work well at all. You have to go over the same area about 10 times back and forth before it picks up, and even then many times it does not pick up well.

Re: Small vac for cat litter -not cordless

When we rescued two kittens I purchased the Monster Vac on the Q  just for that reason and I love it.  It's small light weight and I use it more than I expected I would.   Because it's lightweight I use it  on the steps and carry it to use in the basement,  my DH even commented that he was surprised how powerful it is.

I don't chase cat litter, I chase bird seed (have 3 birds).  What works for me is a corded bissell featherweight bagless vac.  Kind of like a black and decker dust buster on a cord.

You can go long handled, short handled and remove the head

This is what the filters look like

If you get hair or dust bunnies on it, I recommend dampening a paper towel and brushing the filter off.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned for quick jobs. It works great and it is easy to clean the filter. I ordered extra filters on the internet.  I use it daily sometimes multiple times per day.
