hello all

not much here.

went to dd house to watch the kids open up gifts. it was mainly clothes this year. the 3 kids are like weeds. they are growing in and out of clothes so fast.

dd had a luncheon for family. it was lots of food i could only eat the meats but that was good.

finally home and in my warm nightgown ready for quiet evening.

hubbys surgery is on Friday. Will be back after he's home recovering. Thanks for the prayers and good wishes.

hello all

just a quick hello today. have clothes to fold. got chores done, got walk in. dh braved the crowds. his watch he got him,self as a gift was broken. went back to the original store , no replacement available,they found their southern store had a replacement, he is on his way down south to pick it up. it is a good hour drive one way from north to southern store. he is also looking for new shoes. he wore the soles off of 2 pair of shoes . the soles fell of the shoes. they were old but he enjoyed how these shoes fit.

anyway, that is all for now. later guys.

just a cruise by

dh did find his shoes. Took him to so many stores today. He is hard to find feet so it takes him forever to find shoes that he likes and fit him comfortable.

got afternoon walk in. Reheating left overs for dinner. Making up 2 potatoes too. Dh is working this weekend 3 days i am doing potatoes tonight to have them ready for me since he won't be home and i can just reheat anything quickly in the microwave. Less clean up for me.

@viva923   I'm glad that your husband was able to get a replacement watch.  I feel for him regarding the shoes.  When they fit so good and then they fall apart you have to look for new ones and the new ones are never like the old ones.

Well.... another Christmas behind us    I enjoyed spending the day with my sister.  We watched my favorite version of A Christmas Carol while eating dessert.  I love the black and white version with Alastair Sim.

On Christmas Eve, at the end of the drive home from the niece in the woods, I noticed part of one of my light strings on the front porch was out.  Lucky for me, the part of the string that went out was behind the huge evergreen shrub.

Today, I went over to Meijer's to check out after Christmas sales.  I bought two light strings at 50% off (for next year) and some Christmas tissue paper at 50% off.  I had specific light strings in mind and didn't want to wait until the stock was picked over.

kind of watching my old movies tonight. Shirley temple movie on now. Wash is doing its thing. Not much else going on.

dh is working this weekend. Don't know what i will do it keep busy. I will come up with something.
