Signing in this morning, and for the first time I am prompted with a box to check that I am not a Robot. Never thought that I would live to see the day when a Computer would ask me if I was a Robot, to basically verify I am a Human before letting me proceed. Oh, the irony. Yes, I have seen these before, but first time here. I just find it both hilarious and bizzare, but here we are.

@KittySoftPaws   Hasn't happened to me here...yet. Double verification is becomong so common. I have to do it on my banking sites, but what could possibly be so "risky info" here?

Signing into the Forums does not require Two-Step Verification.  The other poster is confusing that with what the OP is talking about in this thread.

I haven't encountered that yet, but it sounds like they're trying to cut down or eliminate the spam posts that have been increasing here lately.

I've gotten yay a few times lately.  Nothing new.  And yes @geezerette I believe that's what they're trying to do-- cut down on spammers and potential hacks.
