Call your local news station! They love stories like this and you could keep others not as sharp as you from making a big boo boo. Call them and put out the alert on tv news.

Please be careful allowing any stranger into your home.

I would not care what they are selling. You maybe able to report a complaint online to your city, county and state government. 

This is a known scam.

One question, does @bonnielu  have proof that they quoted her 45,000? She said she got nothing.

 

She refused to sign with them, so it's over. 

 

If someone quoted me that price to fix my roof, I would laugh and ask them to leave also. Of course I wouldn't stop laughing until they were out of sight.

Call a local tv channel and report them.  File complaints with BBB and the state attorney general's office.  Do whatever you can so others don't get taken.
