Last day of my long weekend, which I have thoroughly enjoyed!  I got a lot done.

I cleaned my husbands car on the inside..he can take it to the car wash for the outside. After the car was cleaned, I cleared out the garage...hosed off lawnmower and snowblower and other very dusty/dirty items then the floor.

 I sure would like to have a coating put on our garage floor, it would be so much easier to keep clean, but doubt that will happen.

I need to think about dinner, which will be early since we will probably only eat lunch/dinner...I have some desert that I made so if we get hungry we can have that later this evening.

Back to work tomorrow!

I've done some small things here at home.  I accomidated my cat.  Neighbor came by to ckeck in on me.  

I had a McDonald's Big Mac for lunch.  Since my hubby passed on, the BBQ's we used to have are no more.  

I may give myself a facial.

got my fitbit watch yesterday-could not afford an apple watch so fitbit was next best

Had eye exam yesterday, stopped at library, and shopped for some cards.

Not planning on leaving the house today. I got a cook book from the library that I will look at today and I hope to make beef taco chili sometime next week. Fall is definitely in the air around here. Today I will wash the fall/winter throws I love using.

Minnesota weather is getting cooler now, so this morning I got my winter slacks and tops out of the cedar closet and my summer clothes in.  Also a bag out for donating. I'll be looking up recipes today and tonight I plan on making a mushroom stroganoff. That is sooo delicious! That goes  on top of noodles.

I'll look for some recipes without meat to make spaghetti. I have a lot of basil  and parsley now to make a good tomato sauce.  Hope you all have a great day today wherever you are!

@gloriajean, I’m originally from Minnesota. In fact, all my family are still there.

My brother and his wife are coming to see me tomorrow, Thursday, so I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning and such that I’ve just put off. Nothing like company coming that gets me in gear. My daughter and her husband mowed and are really helping me out. Daughter power washed deck and chairs last night. Brother loves sitting out there and taking his coffee in the morning. It’s too much to do all myself so I very much appreciate them. But I’m really looking forward to talking and having a good time with brother and sister-in-law. I’ll take them out to our favorite Mexican food place. It’s tradition 🙂

Went to pick up my prescription glasses and then give a blood draw.  

Went to lunch and had soup and sandwich.  

Okay, so it's not exciting but it was my day.

A very hot day today. Some relief on the way.
I sure do miss home and the nice fall weather.
Trader Joe's early this morning and the pumpkin inventory has arrived.🎃👍

Community Chat is a mess. I can get only in if I'm logged in but still cannot skim through the other threads. So I give up.

Also finding the drop down menu does not work and show names so I have to type in to whoever I am responding to - what?

Anyway sending good thoughts to everyone whether posting or just reading.
