Starting a new thread here for those who'd like to share their day with us, or share anything they wish.

For me today, I'd like to share with you how I've come along since I broke my hip 3 years ago, and developed Arthritis in my knees, Last Tuesday I had a couple cortizone shots into my knees, and I can't beleive how much that has helped! I can do alot more today than I could before I fell and broke my hip.  I'm back to bread baking, among other things, and feeling a lot better.

If this thread doesn't go over very well, it's okay, I just thought I'd start one in place of the one in CC that is so hard to get into, and sometimes even impoosible. Just trying to make things easier.  Have a good day!

I forgot to mention that before I got the cortizone shots in both knees, I had what they call Rooster Shots put in both a couple months before, that usually helps with knees, but not for me at all. That was a waste for me.

vegan - just wanted to mention too, that my husband was having Neuropathy, and his doctor suggested to him to go on a plant based food plan, he reluctedly did 3 months ago, and now, no more cramps at night, he had several, and he's feeling so much better too.  Who'd ever thought? Now he doesn't even miss meat, and he sure was a meat eater before.

I'm so happy your DH and you too @gloriajean - interestingly I have heard people taste buds change within short time no longer crave meat. Please know this news makes me smile. 😁

My life is pretty boring, lol.  Dentist appointment this morning and then ran to a larger town about 30 minutes away.  LOWES have some really nice perennials still instock and healthy looking, I was tempted but did not buy

I had not been to KOHLS in a long time, so I stopped in, there was very little traffic in the store.  I kept wandering around for a place to scan an item as their sale pricing was confusing.  The sales woman said they took them out about a year ago!!  She said the company is pushing customers to use their APP, not me, so I just hunt down a sales person and they had to scan for me.

Beautiful, much needed rain this morning...now it's muggy.

Enjoy your day ladies.

@gloriajean
Today we spent some time at a Cancer Center several hours from us for my husband's Radiation Mapping. Afterward, we had brunch outdoors at a quaint restaurant in a charming little mountain town and then traveled back home.

It's wonderful that you are on the mend and that the cortisone shots are helping you! ♥️
