Among Friends

After church Sunday, I assisted a member with her carry out drinks to the car, as she struggled with her husband with his walker....A 'no brainer' act of kindness, but she was kind enough to send me an e-mail this morning to thank me for it.  Nothing warms ones heart more than to help someone else.

Love this thread and so nice to read and get wonderful idea's to spread kindness and caring in someones day ~   When out dining it is nice to pick up the tab for a senior

dining alone or a young family with children ~  when in a grocery line,  paying

attention to people behind you and letting them go ahead of you when they

have much less .... paying attention to elderly that have problems reaching

something at the top shelf is always appreciated.  Calling a lonely senior to see

how they are doing..... making a homemade meal to take and enjoy with them.

See an endless line of traffic behind you?  Someone ahead to pull into traffic?

Slow up so they can get on the road........ how nice is that?  Doesn't cost a dime

but is so nice when it happens to you....... just paying attention to your surroundings

when stopped in traffic I look at all the people in all of the cars, everyone has

a place to go, something going on in their lives, good and bad..... I wish them

a safe and happy day and wish them well in their lives...... just doing that is gratifying.

These are just a few things..... there is so much more ~  We should keep this thread alive and going~  There can never be too much kindness to spread around in someone's day ~
