Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Weekend to All 5-17-19

Shabbat Shalom and a very happy and healthy May weekend to all!

It's so rewarding to be able to come together here at QVC's message board every Friday and share our holidays together, regardless of our beliefs. I'd like to thank all you beautiful people who join us on Fridays, regardless of how and where you pray. I'd also like to thank QVC for allowing us to be here.

A BIG WELCOME TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE JOINING US TODAY, and welcome back to all our regular posters. Your presence means a lot to us all Heart I'd also like to thank those of you who are having health issues and share your trials, tribulations and successes with us. Prayers for healing to each and every one of you.

Prayers to all the children who are alone and frightened. I can't say any more but may these poor babies soon be reunited with their parents and their loved ones.

May all your loved ones be healthy, but if they are ill, may they soon be well.

To those who have lost loved ones, know that they will always be with you in your heart.

To those of you and your family with health issues, may everything turn out well. May your medical tests and those of your loved ones come back with happy results. May your medical treatments be successful and may you live a long and happy life.

Sending prayers of healing and strength to you and your loved ones.

Now, even more than ever, may our leaders find the wisdom, maturity, courage, strength and sanity to make the right decisions for our security and well-being. G-d bless America!

Good thoughts and thanks to our military. May they come home safely and SOON. Bless all the servicemen that didn't make it home; and to those who are serving, thank you for your sacrifice and for being there to protect our safety.

Special prayers for all the children...may they be happy, have good health, enough to eat and drink, a warm bed, and the abiding love of parents and family who will protect them. May the children survive and thrive. No child should ever go to bed hungry, nor should anyone else in our beautiful, bountiful country. Help the food banks if you can. Even a little helps. May our own children and grandchildren be healthy and happy, and shed no tears of pain or sadness. And, MAY THEY BE SAFE in their schools, their temples and churches, and anywhere people gather.

Condolences to those of you that have lost a parent or a loved one recently. May you find the strength to carry on, and hold good memories of your blessed loved ones to keep you strong.

Try to do a good deed for a friend or a stranger. They'll feel good, and you'll feel better.

Good health and happiness to everyone who shares their thoughts and prayers and good wishes with us every week. Hug your loved ones every day and make sure they know you love them.

Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Sunny

I believe we all have it in us to beat the odds and achieve the impossible."

Happy Peaceful Weekend to all.

Sunny,

I use this beautiful welcoming thread as my Friday Meditation. I read it slowly and take it all in. You help me clear me head every Friday...it is so appreciated.

We live in a Beach Town and have to get ready for Memorial Weekend.

Fingers crossed the weather cooperates.

Happy weekend to all!   Hope this finds all healthy and maybe getting to enjoy spring.   The rain seems to be spreading out with a day or two of dry in between.  The rivers are very slowly starting to receed althought there still are thousands of acres underwater that should not be.  It will be a rough year on many farmers.

@I am still oxox

Happy anniversary to you and your DH. I think it is rare for couples to not experience some troubled waters at times, but will pray for bountiful peaceful waters ahead for you both.   Hope you got the chance to do something special for your day.

Happy weekend to Sunny and all our posters.

Enjoy and be safe.

In spite of that heavy rain in the tri-state area I hope all enjoyed their Mother's day as I did.

Good afternoon, everyone, Smiley Happy

Sunny,  taking a moment to write on this kind thread is just what I needed this afternoon..........a break from the crazy, aka, my life.

Happy Anniversary, @I am still oxox   most of us have been through ups/downs/sideways, aka, life together.  Wishing you and your husband many years of happiness.

My son and his gf are moving Monday to the Boston area.  Please keep a good thought/prayer for both of them. They are a special couple on the next leg of their  adventure together.  They've been together for 6 years. I love this young lady........but more importantly, they love one another, are very happy and work well together.

I hope you all take a moment this weekend to do something for yourself.   Recharge for the busy week ahead.

Today is National Cherry Cobbler Day.  Enjoy! Mangia!

[ Edited ]

I echo all the dear and lovely good wishes and prayers, and add a "happy anniversary" to @I am still oxox and your husband!

I needed encouragement, a spirit lift, help to find my way and try to regain solid footing in the past few weeks.    Someone noticed and gave me that gift of support and assurance.    I want to share, again, a quote in hopes that it might be a way to repay my friend by "passing it on" to someone else who might be in need.   Please, remember, even when we feel alone...  we are in the presence of angels.   My love to you all.~❤️~

"May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.

May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with optimism and courage.

Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone.

May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.

Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love embrace you as you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around you.

Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way.

What you may feel you lack in one regard may be more than compensated for in another.

What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on an other's judgments of your accomplishments.

May you always feel loved."
