Among Friends

Shabbat Shalom to those who observe. Sending prayers out for Sunny's friend and sympathies to Kutira.

Shiva is over and it's time to re enter the world. I am not following the prohibition against music because that is one of the things that provide me joy and peace. I went to a small concert last night and will be going to another tonight. My friend's incredible voice will help fill in some pieces of my broken heart.

@reiki604 and @kutira please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

Reiki, now is a terribly difficult time for you as you leave the Shiva house and go out into the world. Anything that can make this time a little better for you is what you should do. I'm happy to hear that you attended a concert and were soothed by the music.

Kutira, I lit a candle for my mom last week, which marked 10 years since she passed. It still hurts, but I guess by now I've learned to live with the pain and the loss.

I wish you both peace, and may the memories of your moms be a blessing. Another of our Shvesters suffered the loss of her mom recently. Wishes of peace and love to you as well.

I'm grateful for my husband, son and  friends who love and support me throughout the good and trying times.  I am one lucky lady to have them in my life.
