Wishing everyone Shabbat Shalom and all affected by this winter snow a quick thaw!
Obviously can’t get to Temple tonite (1/2 hour away), but do have a prayer book at home for such emergencies (& to have my mourner’s prayer for my younger brother and my Dad).
On tonite’s menu, roast chicken, homemade cranberry sauce, scalloped potatoes and stir fried veggies. There are 10 extra seats at the table if anyone cares to try to brave the snow to get up my driveway. Lol. 😃

Good Shabbos Sunny and friends,
Thank you sunny for giving us this peaceful all inclusive thread.
It is a lovely place to come when we are tired and frazzled.
If only the world could be such a kind place!
Stay in and safe in the scary east coast weather.
We are cloudy and cool, but thankfully for our town, no rain.
Lots of positive thoughts for all people needed right now!
xoxo, henny

Good Shabbos and Happy weekend!
Thank you Sunny for this thread. It's a peaceful, welcoming place to end the week and start the weekend.
My thoughts are with anyone looking for a job. We have some people in our circle of family/friends who are struggling with finding a job.
My prayers are with children living in less than loving, nurturing and peaceful homes.
Today is National Popcorn Day.
Enjoy the assorted flavored popcorn while you relax, watch tv or a movie.

Hi Donna,
Hoping your friends find jobs. It is a difficult thing to find oneself unemployed.. My youngest just lost his job. The restaurant closed when we had the big fire here.
Echoing your thoughts about the children. so many with no voice.
On a lighter note, I helped myself to a small popcorn with cheese.---Mmmmmm!

If I had a clue where you lived and time to get there, I would be more than happy to fill one of those seats at your table and share your matzo ball soup!
To those who are still covered by snow, please be safe, warm and well fed.
