@dmod nj, I just saw on TV about the horrible flooding in NY. I cannot imagine being in weather like that. I hope you are safe where you live.

DH served in the Navy & was stationed in the Philippines where he witnessed the monsoon season. The TV news brought that memory back to him.

Hope you enjoyed Nat'l Coffee Day. I over-celebrated & hope I can sleep tonight!

Seeing the flooding is very frightening. I hope everyone is ok.

I lived in Brooklyn Heights when my mother went to Columbia. I was very little at the time. I remember having friends that lived in basement apartments and couldn't help but remember them when I saw the floods.

That's too bad about those ice box cookies. But Oreos will do!

@MOMMAVik  I live in central NY, Syracuse area, so I'm fine.   The flooding in the NYC area is historic. It's horrible.  We check on family/friends who live in the area. It's been a nightmare for them.
