@mustang66ladywrote:Happy Passover and Happy Easter to all.
I couldn't agree more; it is a pleasure to come here each week; I sometimes read this tread multiple times a week for the peace it brings.
I wanted to give you all an update on things here. DH received a call yesterday from his doctor-they want to move his procedure up a day so he will get the two remaining stents placed Wednesday instead of Thursday.
Our oldest DD had her surgery yesterday and while the surgery went well, recovery didn't go too well. She is fine but she suffers from migraines and this surgery was a shot in the dark to try to help with those. When the anesthesia wore off, she had a full blown migraine. She threw up several times, unable to keep anything down because of the migraine. This morning she is much better and is getting ready to come home.
Thank you all for prayers said and well wishes sent to either DD or DH or both. We believe in the strength of prayer and know it to be true. I don't think it matters who says those prayers because I believe all are heard-maybe not answered the way we think or hope they will be, but worth saying them always. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you strong women of faith.
@mustang66lady I too am a firm believer in the power of prayer, I find myself praying about any/everything all the time, often I wonder if I get on our Father's nerves w/ all my chattering to him, but then I think that He would rather hear from me more often then not at all. Pls give your DD a big hug for me, I suffer from migraines too & know what she has been through. I have read many of your posts, you are a very strong woman of faith, and I thank you for being so inspiring to me. GOD bless you & your family. L
What a tender, kind post! I came here tonight because I'm tired and so behind on anything going on any of the threads. I often come back and read and re-read the posts from start to finish on this thread because of the peace and kindness that exists here.
I'm so sorry to hear you suffer migraines as well. I really wish there was something that would help all sufferers but that just doesn't seem to exist. My DD was/is a Marine and studied avionics at Pensacola. She was returning to base one day and just outside the gate to the base, a car ran a stop light and t-boned her camaro. It messed up her back and I believe that is the true source of her headaches; she never had them before this. I am praying I am wrong about this and that this surgery will end or at least lessen them. It will take care of some other problems she was having as well. I will tell her of your post-it will be good news and spirit lifting for her to know. And the Father has big shoulders-I know He can handle any problem you bring to Him. We don't always understand His ways at the time, but I believe all will be made known. I believe He would be hurt if you didn't bring your burdens to Him.
Once again, thank you and bless you for making this tired woman feel peaceful once again.

Oh @Leiloni
I didn't mean to make you cry! You are a gentle spirit for sure. It has been a busy week for us and this is the first evening I have been back in a long time. I am sorry if you think I ignored your sweet post. Bless your heart and your poor hurting head. Will keep you in my prayers and if you stumble across something that works for you, please share with us. It is still a little too early to know if DD surgery has accomplished its' goal in relieving her headaches.
