I just posted about Proboards on another thread. I'm not that computer literate to create the forum but I am more than willing to help in any way I can.
Let's get something going before QVC pulls the rug out from under us. We should also name it in a way that our QVC forum friends can find us.

I'll give it a try if you like.  What would you like the name of the main board to be?  QVC Rejects?  The Official QVC Board?

@Icegoddess  I'm here if you need help. How about QVC Forum Friends for a name?

I like QVC Forum Friends.  I'm not in yet because you have to create the forum before getting started.  But, for sure, I will need some moderators.  To do that, I expect we will have unmask ourselves but not sure yet.  I know it says whoever creates the forum gets the username Admin, so I wouldn't be able to post freely unless I created another username using a different E-mail I guess.

@Icegoddess   LOL  I would not use "Reject" and "The Official QVC Board" sounds as if sanctioned by the Q.

I would just use the letter "Q" and something like The New Q.

That way QVC cannot say its name is being used without permissionl

@Cakers3 If they don't like QVC being used, they would also probably go after Q since they also go by that name.  Look up in the top left corner of this page.

@Icegoddess   Ugh.  You are right.  I didn't even catch that.

There used to be a board called "Faux HSN" when HSN shut down the forums for a while.  I believe there was a bit of a dust-up but it was a long time ago so my memory may be off.

Although the letter "Q" can be more generic than QVC.  The "Q" is more of a logo so if there is no "Q" logo on ProBoard it might pass ok.

I come to the Boards everyday so with the Boards gone I have one less reason to come to QVC and I have been a big purchaser.  I only watch Isaac on TV as I love his clothes and get a kick out of him.  So, now wthout the Boards to bring me to the site I can see my purchases going way down.

Just what we need.  A CEO who knows how to lead Hardware.  I can see QVC just gradually fading away and I really don't think it can attact young viewers as much as they are trying with some of the new vendors.

I would love to come to the Pro Board.  If @Icegoddess  can set one up that would be great.  Let us know how to find it.

I could go more generic with Home Shopping Forum Friends.  Of course, we might attract a bunch of Realtors.

I posted on an earlier thread. I registered at pro board (forum name: all things Q); which can be changed. But I had to make a snap decision without infringing on copyrights. I know there is a time sensitive desire to keep seamless communication.

However, it's a group effort! It can take up to a week for pro boards to approve the forum.  In the meantime, if anyone is (pretty please) willing to help with thoughts and their time to keep our community, that would be wonderful! If anyone would feel comfortable emailing qvcrefugee at yahoo, that would be wonderful!
