Seeing some light through this rainy day...

[ Edited ]

I first want to thank you all for your kind wordsThey were what my heart needed .

It made me really think about  life, When all is well,we are confidant ,sure, our faith is rooted  in that happiness. should really be based on only happy? For the past few days i realized, that gift of the people who left us so abruptly, kindled a dream, that turned into a reality ,it was OUR dream...They were like the match that turned a smoldering fire into real life, they inspired me to write a book, love beyond my heart. To take on responsibilities, that when i really think, scare me.I really wanted to have  my own life, free from  anchors. In return giving up myself has given me love, more love than I deserve . I have finally found understanding,my understanding,if you allow me, to share this with you..

I think we look for the ending, the finished product....I now know there is no ending, the story always moving forward, we have no right to curse the unhappy while rejoicing  in only the happy. It all has its own place,Yes to everything there is a season, it rings so true. This is the season for me to surrender to the creators plan,he knows his plan for me,to continue in the trust that I was moved by daily, that this is a moment to simply allow his healing,That healing that has carried me through my life..I now see with his healing we are drawn closer ,not pushed aside, if we listen and really hear.Perhaps this message will  touch anothers broken heart? Perhaps this is a message for us all? Will we continue on ,not in sorrow but in joy, inspite of the rain? Sending you my heart, some love ,a hug and the power of the tears of rain...MaryAnne

Re: Seeing some light through this rainy day...

First, MaryAnne, I am so sorry for the horrific loss you and your family have had to endure. There are no words.

Today I lost one of my dearest friends. Even when you know something is coming,it doesn't make it much easier when it gets here. Two years ago my friend was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. What a horrible, brutal disease. She didn't have any major painful symptoms when she saw her doctor. I know this type of cancer is asymptomatic. So she was diagnosed at Stage 4. She fought the fight and passed away today one month shy of two years since she was diagnosed. Reading your post today has helped me put things in perspective. I am so grateful for the 20 years of friendship I had with this incredible woman.

@NEvans2,This is why we come here,we share,we often think we are different, but in sharing realize human is human,no color ,no money separates  us.I hope you will rejoce in the gift of your friend.Imagine a world without her gifts. May you find comfort in  her life, live your life  ,remember her voice...Hugs dear one, love,Maryanne
