Thanks everyone for your replies!
Ended up taking the meds out of the bottles and put into a ziploc bag. Drove thru and donated. I will look for other drop offs thru the year too like cvs, etc!

@chrystaltree I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. I know if I lost my sister, a big part of me would be lost, too.
