SC, Thank you for your beautiful post in support of our dear friend, Puddles.  I had read her post on Positive Thoughts but didn't realize until now the degree of her health situation when she made the statement, "I am not well..."  I pray for her full recovery and well being every day.  She is a blessing to me.

I joined Puddles "seasonal" threads over ten years ago. (I think it was during the time QVC changed the sign in and posting directions for the forums.)  From the first day I knew in my heart this would be my go to seasonal thread because of the friendships that were developed and nurtured, with Puddles at the helm of each new thread.  She has put a lot of time and effort into each new thread for many years.  I read and post on other forums but this is the one I go to first each morning.  It is the best thread on the Q.

Puddles goal has always been to develop and nurture friendships.  She has not only met this goal but has IMO exceeded it.  In honesty there have been a few people who have left for their own reasons mainly due to  misunderstandings.  But that's life and was their choice.  The threads have always survived and may I say thrived.

IMO this thread will last.  As friends and supporters we must give Puddles the space and time to recover.  If that means a "leave of absence" for her so be it.  Her health and well being must be a priority for her and Ian and our commitment to that will be my goal, and I'm sure others who post here.
