Dresses with sneakers - for me it's a no I feel like a frumpy bag lady.

I've seen some ladies wear that combo & it looks really cute...just depends on the dress style to me. One I've seen is, she is apple-shaped, the dress is knee length, and is one of those "floaty" styles, with no defined waist. The sneakers are a chunkier style. She's probably in her early 40's. Looks so good on her!

There was a time, in the 90s, when I wore Keds to work a lot with long shift dresses. I had a job where I was on my feet a lot so they were wonderful. I think it's a cute look for summer dresses but I don't wear dresses any longer. I've noticed lots of women around town wearing sneakers with any and everything during the day.

I don't wear dresses but it really depends on the style of dress and sneakers.

I haven't worn sneakers since I was in college...

I would wear a Sketcher slip on without laces with a casual type dress for day and weekend.

For me it's a Yes vote. Comfort over looks and fashion. But I'm one of those people who, since I was a teenager about a thousand years ago, thought that it shouldn't matter how a person dresses. It's the person themselves that counts, not how they look or the clothes they wear.

But I guess I am a bit crazy because I also love fashion and I have more in my closet than I need 😁

Sneakers with dresses doesn't bother me. I wore them to/from work every day for years with whatever I was wearing that day. They are much more comfortable walking from the parking ramp to the office or anywhere else.

Just like everything else, sneakers with dresses will come and go out of style. I don't make it my problem.

When I worked in the office I often did so, I kept a 'loafer' style in the office so if I had to walk to a meeting or lunch that was over a block or two I could wear them.
