Beautiful day here - the humidity has really dropped but will return tomorrow.  I put Spanish Rice in the crockpot for dinner tonight.  It includes all the food groups except fruit.  Tonight, I have an appointment with my PCP so this was a good choice for dinner.  Everyone can eat when they want and DH and I will eat when we get home.

Good morning everyone, a rainy day here and the storms were loud last night while trying to sleep-blew my large outdoor clock off the wall and dented it up good. Got a bunch of errands done yesterday, stocked up on food so I don’t have to get groceries for a month. Yes I live close to town but I hate grocery shopping. I heard you all talking about peaches so I had to buy two small lugs of them. I can just start to smell them ripening, such a wonderful fragrance. Thank you for the peach envy! Going out to supper tonight with brother and sister, our way of staying close and in touch. Then company coming tomorrow. I am glad I got my bathing suit on after running around yesterday and swam by myself for half an hour, then a bit of paddle boarding- looks like the weather turning fallish so need to squeeze summer fun in while I can. Have a great day all!
