Wishing all of my fabulous SBTL

sisters a very pleasant,peaceful

The area where I live (Lower Hudson

River Valley 25-30 miles NW of NYC)

is due to get a much not wanted visit

from Iaisis beginning late the evening

and going through the day tomorrow.

Heavy rains and high winds are expected

which means flooding and power outages.

All of the villages in the county that

are along the river have been making

preperations for the storm all week-end.

They were decimated by Superstrom

Sandy as was a good portion of this county.

I'm about 3 miles in from the river

but am in a heavily wooded area so

in my case it's the strong winds that

I'm more concerned about.Hopefully

Iaisis will have lost much of it's strength

and will have moved more out to the

Atlantic by the time that it gets to

this area.

I'm not scared (I survived Sandy!) and

am keeping a pawsitive attitude!

We're continuing our sorting and cleaning of the garage this morning.  We woke to 70 degree temp and tolerable humidity although both are increasing now.  Tonight we can expect showers and T-storms and tomorrow rain (much needed steady rain!!!) will enter the picture from  Isaias, hopefully for much of the day.

It was a busy weekend for us.  We did lots of looking at townhomes and found one we especially like.  It is a new construction so we would be able to pick out flooring and finishes.  We possibly will put a lot hold on it today.
