I was replying to a post and when I tried to post the message, I kept getting a red banner saying ' PLEASE CORRECT HIGHLIGHTED TEXT.  There was nothing highlighted, so I tried again - same thing!  The message went on to say something about 'flooding and 3000 messages an hour!  Has anyone else experienced this?  On the 3rd or 4th try, the message posted!

Very strange.  Maybe you should run a virus scan.

I agree, run a virus scan, then clear cache, delete cookies, etc.

I've had that happen a few times, and I"m on a Kindle.

It went away after a moment of two.

Just a momentary computer hiccup.

No biggie.

Yes, it happens to me.  A refresh seems to work.

I get the "Please correct..." message quite often, but never the one about "flooding".

I check what I'm trying to post and if everything is fine, I just try the 'preview' feature again and normally it corrects itself and I can post fine. 

This forum is the wonkiest site I use.  There always seems to be some sort of problem.

I had this yesterday when I tried to enter an answer where I had 3 photos.  Who knows?
