PA's first day of spring will be very wet. It started to rain this evening and will continue through Thursday morning. Rain will be heavy at times but I hope we don't have flooding.
We made it to our local independent grocery store this afternoon. It wasn't too crowded and people were polite trying to stay at least six feet away. We got our necessities and a few extra baked goods, chocolate chip cookies and apple dumplings, oh so good.
Ed and I will be making chili in the slow cooker tomorrow. I've been hungry for it for awhile and Ed has a great recipe from an Amish cookbook. I hope I didn't forget any of the ingredients.
We had a phone call and an email from our church letting us know services and all meetings are cancelled until further notice. Even though I knew this was coming, it doesn't give me a good feeling that it has come to this. Fortunately, we can find services on several TV channels on Sunday morning. Our pastor also plans to record a sermon for podcast.
Happy spring to everyone. Stay safe. (((Elbow Hugs)))
