ok who is eating all of @Tissyanne's pie?

i want some.

Yesterday, we were treated to a wonderful time at DD's for our Mother's Day!
They baked gluten-free cupcakes especially for me💗

How nice because I usually don't get to eat baked treats.

The weather was chilly but sunny and nice. The grands were able to play outside with the neighbors (friends).

Re: SPRING HAS SPRUNG🐇🌼🌈🌷🌞

Hi Everyone,   I hope your weekend and Mother's Day were lovely and peaceful.   It went by so fast.  I need to go back try to catch up with reading posts and hearting

My daughter and I actually got to spend time together on Saturday and go our to one of our favorite little restaurants to have some awesome Tex-Mex food   Right off of the bat she ordered a pitcher of Margaritas and wow were they good.   I had my favorite shrimp burrito with beans and rice as sides.  The burritos are close to a foot long and there's no way I could eat one at one meal    It was just a joy to be able to be with her and not have to run off in a matter of minutes which is what it has been over the last couple of months.

For Mother's Day,  she brought us all breakfast from Cracker Barrel,  biscuits and gravy,  blueberry pancakes (for me), pecan pancakes, for her and plain pancakes and bacon for my brother.   Again we got to visit for a while instead of minutes.   Just sitting watching TV or ?  is something I have really been missing.   She checked up on my brother and gave him a ''talking to'' about using the Oxygen mask I ordered on Saturday for him to use when walking back and forth to his room or anywhere else.  He told me this morning he fell off of the "throne'' last night and there was blood on the floor from his nose.   I didn't hear anything, but then this house is so big, it's impossible to know or hear everything going on.   He seems fine, as can be,  today.

Last evening,  my middle grandson organized a 'conference' call for all of us.  My son and daughter in law, my 3 grandson, and my daughter plus me all got  to talk with  each other via the cell phones,  as if we were all together  in person.  It was so wonderful to hear everyone and catch up on each other's lives in ways  that you can't do by texts.   I also got to video chat with my granddaughters and great grandsons.  I miss seeing all my family members so much and I know that's true of all of us. Cat Sad

I did also get to talk to my sister in Texas.  Her youngest son and his wife brought their 5 children and two pups, one a 4 month old Doberman puppy, over to visit.  My sister and BIL have been staying away from their grandchildren and haven't seen them in many many weeks.   They've missed so much that the little twins have been doing as they are growing up way too fast.

I could rattle on and on, but don't want to be boring.   Have a lovely rest of your Monday and stay safe and warm.  It's cold here,  will be below normal for a bit to come.  YAY!! Heart
