hey guys

nice photos today.

DH was contacted by a family member on facebook. this would be on dh grand dad side thru mother. everything is done in spanish. dh mom and all family is all from mexico city, venazeula,canary islands and such.

not much else going on. got morn walk in. it rained this morn,nothing hard, sun is out. and warming up.

It's been raining since early this morning and appears we will have on and off rain most of the week.

We attended the Arts Festival yesterday but waited til mid-afternoon.  It was so cold and windy all day but got a bit warmer and less windy by around 3:00.  I got a beautiful glass pendant necklace that is done in amethyst (my birthstone), topaz (DH's birthstone) jade and black.  In the center is a single pawprint done in topaz.  It's a perfect design and I'm calling it "Alfie's pendant."     It would appear it was made just for me.  

We got some homemade wine jelly in a blackberry cabernet flavor and we're anxious to try that.  When we paid for it the lady asked if we were still taking wedding photos.  No, we're retired.  It turns out we did their wedding photography in 1978.  Small world ...

Wishing everyone a pleasant Sunday and week.  I guess it's not raining in Talladega; DH is watching the NASCAR race.
