@BalletBabe I did the same thing but wrote the warnings in English and Spanish. Works like a charm!

We bought a Panasonic land line phone a few years ago that allows us to block phone numbers. What a blessing - especially this time of year !

Oh my freaking goodness! I realized, like the idiot that I have become, that I cannot get this call blocker unit because I had forgotten that when I changed my phone service the main phone got moved upstairs to my office, where I"ve always had my modem and router.
So I set out to call these CPR call blocker people and that was a nightmare that has not yet ended. First you have to listen to five minutes of them trying to sell you stuff or tell you that you have won something. Then it tells you that their number has changed and then you call that one and it's the same runaround until you find yourself nowhere and being connected to one of their 'sponsors'.
Either I just spent $90 for nothing and learned a hard lesson or maybe I can get it taken care of. There is nowhere on their site to connect with your order so you can cancel it. I'm profoundly upset that they make it impossible to contact them.

@BalletBabe If it were me I would change the number. You don't want strangers discussing your husband. But, beware, you may get calls to the person who used to have the number.

Apple, Google, Microsoft join 'strike force' to fight robocalls
The biggest tech, cable and telecom companies are all coming together to fight the arch nemesis of consumers: robocalls.
Apple, Google, Microsoft, Comcast and Verizon joined more than two dozen other companies for the first meeting of the boldly named "Robocall Strike Force" at the Federal Communications Commission on Friday.
Some robocalls break the law by ignoring the Do Not Call registry or engaging in identity theft attempts. Others, like calls from telemarketers, "are perfectly legal, but unwanted," Stephenson explained.
"If we truly want to deal with this, the entire ecosystem has to work together -- carriers, device makers, OS developers, network designers," he said. "And don't forget, regulators and lawmakers have a role to play."

This is such great news I wanted to quote it.
Thanks @Noel7.
