As the Summer bids us farewell and Fall greets us next week, may we enjoy a pleasant and safe last weekend of Summer.

I've seen the pumpkins at the grocery store, too, and have wondered when I'll buy some.

HM Queen Elizabeth II was known far and wide simply as The Queen. Her passing is the end of an era. Together with the Israeli people, I grieve her loss and extend my deepest sympathies to the British people and all nations of the Commonwealth, who have lost their matriarch.

kutira, I know how difficult it is to take care of an aging parent, having done so myself.  I'm sure you've heard that it is a labor of love that you will never regret.  And, I'm equally sure you agree.

I hope you do not get too exhausted as you have to do everything alone at this time.
