A while back the weekly post was deleted from Community but allowed to surface again on Among Friends, been like that for several years now. Hoping it will be again. It is a lovely way to welcome a happy, peaceful weekend to us all.

I  too hope it is continued.

We need positive communication that is all inclusive and that thread was just that.

I never remember a harsh word ever being spoken on the thread in all the years it was posted. It was always inclusive and welcoming.

This thread has been here in peace for more years then I can remember. It has always been a pleasant place to visit where everyone is welcomed and valued. How anyone can find any negativity here I will never know. And for the record, I am Catholic.

@cody2   I'm Catholic, too, and never read this post because I thought it was just for Jewish people.  Now that I have seen all the hullaballoo, I decided to open the post.  And yes, it is very nice.

I respect any religion that is peaceful.

Happy weekend and Good Shabbos to all!

Another non-Jewish person, who has always been welcomed here, checking in for the week.

Thank you @Shanus , for this warm, friendly, inclusive thread. Smiley Happy  I'm with you.......give me cold weather any day! I loathe the heat and humidity. Always have.

I've not posted in a while.  We had family with us for about 6 weeks. I enjoyed every day, except for when we all got Covid. That was difficult, but we made it through.  Our family members were able to go home after feeling better and testing negative for three days in a row.

It took me a while to get my house back to "normal" and feel more like myself regarding my energy level.

Allergies (ragweed) are just WILD this year.  So, although I'm feeling well from Covid, the tiredness from the allergy symptoms are just annoying me. LOL

This week is busy with repair/maintenance peeps coming in and out all week.

I hope you all have a fabulous week.

Today is National Cherries Jubilee Day.  Enjoy! Mangia! Help yourself. Smiley Happy

Wishing you a "good" fast.

Is that ok to say?   Is that too religious?

I don't go to Temple because here you have to pay, but I've found some nice online services around different synagogues that put on real nice services.   One cantor was so good, he sent chills through me.  It's nice they put their services online.

@diamond, I haven't had cherries jubilee in years. That used to be the favorite desert after a special meal. Sounds heavenly.

I am so glad you are on the road to recovery. That bug seems to be returning, lots of it around.

Stay well.

Juniors used to sell sugar free  mini cheese cakes. Can't find them now.. Maybe you could make us some----
