Shabbat Shalom and Happy Friday to all who join us here at the end of the week.

Awful "things" are happening in our country and around the world. It saddens me to see my granddaughters stressed and not wanting to go to school. Public outings where there are crowds may not be so enjoyable or safe anymore.

I hope my prayers for peace are heard.

This weekend we're finally putting my big fairy  lights around the railing of our balcony and with the evenings cooling off we can enjoy a glass of wine out there. It's a bit noisy at times since they're working on a piece of the highway on the other side of the woods that's our view from our the balcony. Sometimes they work at night, but rarely. 

I hope everyone finds activities that bring them joy this weekend. Stay safe and hopeful and relax.

Wishing you all a restful Shabbat and weekend.  Yet another distressing week we experienced.  I am starting to think twice about gatherings and safety.  Praying that this world's inhabitants come to their senses and we can live in peace.

I could not sign in all day yesterday when I came back to reply. I agree that we are careful about choosing large crowds and are missing out on a lot of fun activities...concerts, lectures, plays, street fairs, etc. Safety is our first thought and we always miss the free and easy life we all used to have.

Think safety first and have a wonderful weekend.
