• My heart is hoping for those who are struggling with illness, homelessness, hunger ... so much sadness we face these days. But I see hope in the beauty just outside my windows ... colorful leaves, birds, some flowers hanging on despite our recent cold temps!

I just found a new Slatkin candle called "8 Crazy Nights"; it's his first Chanukah candle in 30 years!  Supposed to smell like homemade challah.

So start shopping; this early shopping thing has me crazy before Halloween...

Shabbat Shalom. Sorry to be late, but was out of town. I wanted to come here before bedtime to say hello to everyone who meets here each week for friendship and love.

Hoping for world peace and mostly peace and less worry about crime in our own country. It has changed so much and safety is no longer a luxury...Fear prevails almost everywhere. I still never lose hope. 

Wishing everyone a beautiful weekend. Hug your loved ones whenever you have the chance. They are blesings in your life.

It's another stunning fall day here. This is my favorite time of year and I'm enjoying the colors. 

I hope everyone's week is as stressless as possible. I hope it's peaceful and you accomplish whatever you need/want  to get done. 

Enjoy a cookie or three with a warm drink. 
They are appledoodles made with local NY apples.   They are like a snickerdoodle with finely chopped apples.
