Shabbat Shalom and a Safe Memorial Day Holiday. 

Welcome to this Friday thread where we share our plans, thoughts and friendship with others.

We're lying low this weekend. We try not to travel on holidays...traffic, crowded beaches and airports, etc. Rain and storms through Monday, so I feel badly for those headed to NC and SC beaches. 

It seems no matter what country in the world, icluding ours, there is fighting and unrest. Crime is at an all time high, too. I pray for peace and an end to all the violence. 

Thank you for your service to all those protecting us and sympathy to all families mourning loved fallen soldiers.

Shanus, I saw that Charlotte will be getting a Wegmans, lucky you, we love ours, best supermkt in the country !!!

You will have to wait until 2026 to enjoy it !!!

@Shelbelle   Can you believe we already have a Wegman's...almost walking distance from my house? My family in Charlotte comes to visit with a SUV filled with coolers to go there with me. Now they'll have their own!!!

I have to walk passed the bakery dept. I'd stand there and eat 3 challahs...love their donuts, muffins and rolls/breads. We bring in their pizza and love the sushi too. 

Definitely an experience to go to Wegman's.

Shabbat Shalom!  These thoughts for Memorial Day reach deep in my heart.  I know of several of my high school class who went to war and sadly never returned.  Not one dry eye at our reunions when a special prayer is recited in their memory. Have a safe holiday!
