Good Friday morning and Shabbat Shalom. Welcome to this inclusive Friday thread. We share thoughts, weekend plans and come together in friendship.

Still wishing for world peace (more iffy each week) and less violence in our own country. I can't watch the news anymore without being so upset and weakened by the starving children in need of meds and shelter. 

Flooding and tornadoes are threatening across the US, barges hitting bridges and spilling oil, people letting their dogs out of their cars and driving away. I could go on, but we all know the world is in deep trouble.

On a happier note, my gallery sold two more paintings which means five, I think. I'll go down there later and see which ones sold. I guess I'll spend this stormy weekend finishing a few more for them to display. I paint at least three at a time since watercolor backgrounds dry much lighter and take forever before I can do another layer of brighter color and then "doo das" on top (see my painting in another thread). I like to to work on others while the first is drying and when finished, they get sprayed with a fixative.

I can't believe Memorial Day Weekend is next week. We are so behind on having the house ready for our family to come for the long weekend.

The pool isn't open due to the constant rain when have had...and we don't want unhappy little grandkids so it will be a busy week for us.

More rain forecasted for this weekend.

Good morning all

Yes, all we can do is keep praying for the sadness in our country and the world.  I try to greet each day with a smile even though it's not always easy, I will always make an effort.

Congrats @Shanus for your painting sales!   I admire those who have such talent as I can't draw anything successfully, LOL!   

The weather is beautiful in the northeast so we plan on spending some time outside today.   I have some steaks marinating and the grill is ready to go for dinner.   Kind of a quiet weekend for us which I always enjoy,  also plan on doing some reading on the deck later.  Whatever you are up to I hope you all have a wonderful, peaceful weekend

Congratulations on selling two more of your paintings!  You do beautiful work, so it's easy to see why they're selling so fast!  I'm happy you have such a creative outlet you're able to share with others.

This has been a long, stressful week here since my mom's arm and wrist have been broken.  She's been in a lot of pain and that's hard to watch.  Hopefully, I'll be able to speak directly with her primary care Monday morning, as she's due to be back from vacation.

I have lots of nature pics, as well as garden pics I just haven't had the chance to post yet.  Maybe I'll get to share a few today.  Our spring peas are ready and my dad has already mentioned wanting me to cook some lol.

I really appreciate the support from you and my other forum friends.  It is really hard to feel helpless when those you love are in pain.
