Re: SHABBAT SHALOM: MARCH 18

Good Shabbos everyone,

It's good to come here to find a bit  of peace, caring and community.

Thank you all for being here each week.

mr henny was thinking to have leftover corned beef. Wait 'til I tell him it's national sloppy joe day. My money is on him running to Gelson's for a can of glop.

Peace and love to all!

@Shanus thank you for this thread.  It always brings a smile to my face.  And when you are busy,  thank you to whomever jumps in and gets it started.  It's a welcome sight when I'm in forums.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and week ahead.  Hoping that the news we hear is less bad each day.  I'm skeptical,  but hopeful.  Please continue to stay safe and healthy, and appreciative of this amazing country in which we are so fortunate to live.

Hugs to all.

@dmod nj, We were having springlike weather but back now to rain/snow mix & chilly winds. So those sloppy joes are very tempting! Thanks for keeping us well fed every week!

@MOMMAVik I think I'm going to see that weather tomorrow and Sunday.  The daffodils are just peeking up through the soil.   Won't they be surprised tomorrow. lol

It is my pleasure to feed all of us. I LOVE to cook and entertain. Smiley Happy

Thank you so much for starting the thread for us again, Shanus.  This is a place of peace, good feelings and love.

Shabbat Shalom!  Spring begins Sunday, and the cherry blossoms are opening up for a peak that has been projected for March 23 - 25.  If only the entire world could be "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White."  Who remembers that hit by Perez Prado?

I remember my parents taking Cha Cha lessons in the early 60's and playing that Cherry Pink song on our record player over and over, love it!!

Re: SHABBAT SHALOM: MARCH 18

Good Shabbos a day late!

I hope this first day of spring finds you with love, support, joy and generosity.

What ever you do, I hope you increase the good of others' lives.

I just lost a friend and business associate of 19 years; so that is the reason my thoughts are coming out this way.

This friend and associate did their job well, helping others to progress in their goals and understanding of many processes that went into achieving those goals.

May we all add to the good of others' lives.

Blessings,

-Solar Heart

Solar, I am sorry for your loss.  Your friend and business associate sounds as though he or she was an extraordinary human being.

It is a blessing when someone recognizes the good that an individual has contributed to others and to the world in general.

Your hope that  "we all add to the good of others' lives" is a noble sentiment and one that we should aspire to.  How much such a contribution would help relieve hurt, anger, frustration, a sense of failure and pain.
