Good Friday morning and Shabbat Shalom. Everyone's welcome to join this inclusive thread to share their plans for the weekend and check in with other forum friends.

I've been busy taking watercolor classes and purchasing pre-made inexpensive frames from Michaels, TJ Maxx and Homegoods...pop their picture out and put my paintings in to hang in local galleries. Most buyers choose to frame for their decor, so expensive framing is not needed. 

The world is getting crazier (if possible) and the news is frightening. I've limited my time watching and definitely NOT before bedtime. It keeps me awake.

Have a beautiful weekend. Hopefully good weather and time spent with family and/or friends.

Good morning all.   Wishing everyone a safe,  happy and cicada free weekend!   

@Shanus  would love to see one of your watercolors.  What do you primarily paint?  Do you like a particular size?   Have you ever used watercolor pencils for your smaller pieces?  So many questions,  so early!!!!!!

The news certainly is not good.  We watch it to stay informed, and shake our head at all the hatred and stupidity out there.   So sad.

They just changed our forecast from cloudy with showers to sun and rain free so I am happy.

We are removing some vines from the front of our house...what a job that turned out to be. Hope to finish that up this weekend. 

We will never plant a vine on a trellis again....they go crazy and get out of control.

@nyc1   I posted one of my paintings in this forum that sold recently. Not sure how to search for it. I paint quite abstractly and intuitively. I like bright colors especially the primary colors. I usually paint in standard "frame sizes" if I can since that what attracts the buyer. My larger pieces are usually in acrylics. Yes, I do use water color pencils for accents even in in the larger pieces since they are all mixed media watercolors, pens, acrylic paint pens, etc.
