Well, I woke up to rain again today...7 days in a row!! Chose 45 minutes at 6AM to tip toe through the rain drops for my walk. It's only water, right?

Wishing everyone a restful and relaxing summer weekend. I hope those that are grieving find solice here. If you have any news to share, we'd love to hear it and if you can post a Shabbat picture (I cannot), I enjoy seeing them.

Stay dry and/or let your gardens prosper.

Good morning all.   Happy Friday.

@Shanus  We in northern Illinois are experiencing extreme drought!  There is the slightest chance we MAY get a little rain Sunday night...  but they have no clue.

I hope your weather improves and that you stay safe.

Wishing everyone a very HAPPY, SAFE & WONDERFUL WEEKEND.  Enjoy doing whatever it is that gives you happiness and peace.  Continue to be kind, and for those who need it ...  work on patience (an issue I work on regularly when interacting with too many selfish, clueless and lazy people out there!).

Thank you, @Shanus , for this week's friendly thread.  

Happy weekend, TGIF, Good Shabbos and happy first weekend of summer! 

Summer reminds me of my favorite place in Jersey, Long Beach Island.  It's a slice of paradise in Jersey. Barnegat Lighthouse, aka, Old Barney, is a favorite place to visit while there.  I have so many memories of climbing to the top with my son. 

The lakes in central NY are lovely, especially Lake Ontario, but I miss living near the ocean. We have plans to go back to LBI this September. Fingers crossed it works out. 

I hope you all have a relaxing weekend and the weather cooperates with your plans.

LBI is our home...we are on the Bay. It's been very cool here all of June and the past few days have been very rainy and windy.

We have lived here since 2011...originally from PA ..Bucks County.

Shabbat Shalom and Happy summer weekend! Yesterday we celebrated our wedding anniversary *** 49 years!  We had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants at the lakefront. It was a beautiful evening & then we walked it off along the nice walking paths.

I hope these weather issues clear up soon. We have a drought here in SE WI so praying for rain here.

We had years of  drought that finally ended this year. My heart goes out to all of you  who are enduring it. It is frightening to be without water, something we take for granted.
