@Effie54   I majored in art in college, so any form of creativity comes naturally. When I started making jewelry I only worked in silver, but missed color so began adding gem stones and even did enamel work. Those pics are also posted on here.

Hello everyone,  I'm quite late today as I went with my DD to her post op appointment.  Happy to say all is well and she was able to return home after.  Just got back awhile ago and I feel kind of sad in a way, I was enjoying having her here with us.  Oh well, life goes on and I am relieved and happy she is recovering so well and will be back to work in 2-3 weeks.    

We have dinner plans later today as we have been homebound for the last 2 1/2 weeks.  Going out with friends that we will be traveling with to Iceland in early July.  Have to work on our driving plans for the airport!    Another vacation, they come around fast and I've been so sidetracked caring for my daughter that I haven't done anything yet to get organized so I will be getting on that starting tomorrow!

Be careful in this heat, prayers for all!

Shabbat Shalom and a Happy Weekend!  Tomorrow we are going to relax inside in the air conditioning.  I just can't take the heat and humidity.  The yard is in pretty nice shape so no need to work outside.

Sunday is our 50th wedding anniversary!  I don't know where the years have gone but they have been very happy.  Yes, we sometimes went through thick & thin but we made it!  Dinner out tomorrow at a very special restaurant, prime rib for me!

@MOMMAVik   Happy 1/2 century w/ your DH!! When we celebrated ourm50th seveal yrs. ago, that's what our cake said: Half Century! It was a good laugh, but a testimony to the hard work and good times it takes for a long marriage.
