Shabbat Shalom to everyone and welcome to those who are joining us for the first time. This is an inclusive thread on Fridays where we share our thoughts, weekend plans  and connect with Forum Friends.

WOW!, it's very early and hope ya'll find this. DH has a 7:30 post op doctor appt. to check the cataract he had removed yesterday. Of course, he cannot drive, so I'm awake at 6 to take him. It seems that's all I've done for the last 2 weeks is wait in hospitals and drive to doc appts. and take him to his office on Mondays. I'm grateful he did so well and can keep his drops straight now that his second eye was done. 

Food shopping after the appt. and I've been carrying, toting, lifting and bending...all he can't do for awhile after his two surgeries. 

MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW. I'll be 76!!! I refuse to cook and even though he can't drive and may still have that plastic patch on his eye, we're going to a Japanese restaurant where they cook on the table in front of you with flames. I'll be getting the Empress Dinner...the birthday special and watch my filet mignon and lobster w/ lots of veggies cooked before my eyes. Yum!

I wish all a happy, safe and relaxing weekend.

Good morning all.   Wishing everyone a wonderful,  happy and safe weekend no matter what you do or decide not to!!!  Another beautiful day here in the northern burbs of Chicago.  WE DESERVE IT after the weather this past Monday with all the rain, extreme wind and tornado touchdowns.  OMG.  The weather teams here said in all their years of weather,  they have never seen anything like this in our area...  which extended almost statewide into Wi. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of our very favorites,   @Shanus .  You make it the best day you can and enjoy your special dinner.  Sounds delicious.  I'm glad your husband is doing better.

Enjoy this Summer Weekend and week ahead.

The sizzling heat and humidity have backed off a bit but it has been a very hot Summer here so far.

I'll still take it over frigid temperatures, snow, and ice any day.

Enjoy your Birthday. We go to a Hibachi Seafood and Steak House every year for one of my grandsons Birthdays. It's his favorite restaurant. He loves the flipping food.
