Shabbat Shalom and Happy Friday. All are welcome to join us for this inclusive thread where we share thoughts, prayers, just news or  what we have planned for the weekend.

We had the realtor over again to look around and measure all the rooms. I was shocked at the price she's going to list the house! Not sure we'll get that, but gives us some wiggle room to look at more 3 bedroom apts. instead of 2 bedrooms. DH can have his study/man cave and I can have the second bedroom as my art studio. I also thought it isn't a bad idea to put a trundle type or single bed in one of the rooms in case we need live in help....long term health care means our next move is to a nursing home. Bad thoughts, but good planning.

@Shanus That all sounds promising!  Wishing you well with the sale and of course your ongoing search for the perfect, comfy place.  It will be a whole new adventure for you.  I've mentioned on here before that we downsized 6 years ago now, it was the right thing to do, it was liberating and we never looked back.

Later this morning we are off for a weekend with friends at our favorite B&B  on Cape Cod.  We usually visit in the fall but this year we decided on late winter.  We just love the quiet season and even though many places are closed, many are open year round.  Prices are great too!   It's supposed to be fairly nice in the northeast today and tomorrow, getting much colder on Sunday, but we'll be driving back then.

@LindaSal   Thanks Linda for the words of encouragement. It's a daunting task for sure. We should of downsized to an "in between size" instead of this very large house to a small apt., but DH is a stubborn guy and wanted to wait.

Nothing big planned here for the weekend but we need that.

The weather has been so crazy cold and snowy for so long..we need a few weekends to start to tidy up outside.

@Shanus   thanks for this week's friendly thread.  I wish you luck in your new adventure.  It's a daunting task move, much less downsize, and all that goes with it.    I like what you said about this move........better to be organized and have a plan. 

My husband is having a total knee replacement this week.  Please keep a good thought for him.   Thank you.     Just call me Florence Nightingale. LOL 

Our son is starting a new, exciting job this week.   He and his wife live in the Boston area, so just the commute changes.   To be that young again..............lol

@dmod nj   Of course many good thoughts for your husbands procedure. Hope all goes well with a smoothe recovery.  My friend just had it done and although the PT is daunting forher, she's on the mend after 2 weeks.

All I can say as usual:  YUM!!!
