.....Ok I  messed up and missed posting this yesterday BUT today is Shabbat, so I guess I'm still on the mark.......

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Saturday (?). I hope you're all enjoying the few days off, family or friends or both visiting or are you traveling to see them?

Santa missed my house again. I think he knows by now not to bother with our chimney because we're Hanukkah folks.

When Santa stopped at your house and fit his bu*t down your fireplace, hoping he left everything you asked for and loved. 

The true meaning of the holiday seems to get lost with discount shopping, baking and cooking and rushing through the few days. 

I was rushing around early yesterday morning and the day moved along and I forget my weekly thread.

The weather is frightful here....sleet, snow, and icy roads on top of cold bone chilling temps. 

Hope this ends soon as there are so many flights cancelled with people stuck in airports. All the people who have to return home after the Holiday are having a tough time getting there.

It was a quiet holiday for me.  Heard from a friend I hadn't heard from in a while who wrote on Christmas day.  I had some carolers come by and sing off key and forget many of the words.  It was fun. 

I won't go shopping as we've had pounding rain here and there will be crowds too. 

Everyone enjoy the last weekend of this year.We start a new one next weekend.
