Special weekend at Shanus's house...it's our 55th anniversary!!! The years seem to have flown by and memories swirl in my head of honeymoon, having two little bundles of joy (a year apart), sharing 1st days of school, graduations, family vacations, more babies that made us grandparents....Happy times and a few tough times together. The road is not always smoothe, but the bumps are better ignored and just move along.
Another very hot and heat advisory warning day here. No celebration dinner until tomorrow when the temp drops to 90 something....I may have to look for my puffer coat. Lol
I wish everyone a wonderful and safe weekend filled with memories of days gone by and a big smile that we're all here to see the days ahead of us.

@Shanus Let me start by wishing you both a very Happy Anniversary! I agree how fast time passes us by, best to live it up each day and enjoy!
Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my sister for her birthday, she's the baby, just turned 58! We had a nice leisurely lunch and enjoyed our time together. We talk every week but don't get out as much as we would like as life gets in the way. Tomorrow we have another lunch with friends at a nice restaurant that has outdoor seating and looks over the ocean. Loving that I am not cooking much this weekend, LOL! Sunday will be a relax at home day, supposed to be rainy so I guess I will read as the programming looks to be a big fat disappoinment.........Vitamix on the Q and Shark (something) on HSN........blah!

It is still extremely hot and humid here.
Family will be here again this weekend and with the temps this high the pool and Bay is where we will be most of the weekend.

@DREAMON Birthdays a week apart not planned, but annivesary great all together: one nice dinner, one gift, one vacation, one card, ids have one combined visit, etc.
Shabbat Shalom and Happy Weekend! This will be a hot and humid one for sure. No special plans but will be outdoors when the sun sets to try to get some fresh air. Thinking of all who are in the path of the wild fires. That smoke looks just awful. Be safe in this weather.
