@Shanus - Shabbat Shalom! Have you considered changing the name of this thread since it is very much more about weekend plans than Shabbat? Best wishes for a smooth transition and happiness in your new home.

@Q-Checker The thread can be whatever you want it to be. It IS Shabbat at sundown on Friday and I'm continuing the thread title that was left to me by someone who did it for many years. I took over a long ago when she could no longer do it. I think it's almost as long as she posted it here.

Mazel Tov and wishing you the best as you settle into your new home. Enjoy it in the best of health!
Looking forward to a quiet weekend here. After having guests it is nice to just relax! We should have nice weather after days of rain & wind.
DH is scheduled for cataract surgery in May. He is nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. I had mine done many years ago. Trying to assure him it will be ok!
Enjoy the weekend!

Thank you @MOMMAVik . Still a lot to do. Realtor coming in 2 weeks to inspect.
Please wish your DH the best. I was a bit "iffy" myself. The month of drops were worse that the procedure.
Enjoy and relax this weekend.

@CelticCrafter I think the online vdeo came out better than the photosw I took. Either way, the kitchen is the same.

Breakfast anyone?

Wishing you all a good week! I hope you're able to have a moment to do something for yourself. I know it helps me recharge my battery.
@Shanus thanks for this inclusive, friendly thread. Your kitchen and family area is beautiful. Very different from my traditional, as well, but I like it. Going from gas to electric is a process of trial and error and patience with yourself. Try to cook easy stuff at first. Gradually build up to more complicated dishes as you get more comfortable with your stove. Btw, I call it a master, as well. I've also heard it called the owners' suite. I didn't have a pantry until we moved here almost 6 years ago. It's a closet style, but still more than I had in my previous homes. You'll love having one!
@MOMMAVik good luck to your husband. Sending quick recovery thoughts.

@dmod nj I still cook a lot compared most women my age. Thanks for pointers on the stove top. It's making me a bit timid. I'll definitely start slow.

@Shanus - Looks like you have no interest in changing the name of this thread. Thanks for keeping it going after the many years that Sunala initiated and maintained it each week.
