Shabbat Shalom and welcome to all who meet here on Fridays.

Wishing all a dry weekend. We have predicted thunderstorms all day with heavy rain beginning at noon. More rain tomorrow. I had lunch plans with a friend and she just canceled because of weather.

Tax deadline extended until Aptil 18th this year and DH still working hard to finish returns and extensions for those w/o info to do returns. Hope all of you get hefty refunds.

Prayers to all who are hungry and without necessary housing. Also hope this unnecessary violance will end and we can feel safe wherever we need to go....food shopping, Target or just walking in the streets. ENOUGH!

Good morning all.  I hope you are safe, happy and healthy.  Almost every day this week felt like it should have been Friday.  Well,  we are finally here.

I'm not sure if they are being played in all areas of the country,  but I've been seeing the ad campaign to STOP ANTI SEMITISM.  It is so effective and tugs at my heart so heavily that it makes me cry every time I see one.   Very powerful.   We are a tiny 2.4% of the US population,  yet experience 55% of hate crimes,  and it's on the increase.

@nyc1   Yes, I've noticed "# with a blue square"....for a spot about Jewish people. Awareness can work both ways...positivity or point us out to those who want to do harm.

Unforturnately, I've stopped wearing my Star of David necklace...a target for sure.

We wanted to start to get our house (exterior) ready for Summer but it looks like rain for tomorrow so we will see how much we can accomplish.

This is so sad. I just can't believe we are living with such unnecessary hatred.
