Another bad weather weekend. Rained all afternoon yesterday, during the night and continuing with hail this afternoon. I can't remember so many stormy days/weeks in a row.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon cooking a huge pot of veggie soup and put it in cartons to freeze. I also made a big pot of meat sauce to freeze in portions for two. I finished three  paintings while they cooked away. One container of soup goes to my friend who had a knee replacement. The paintings  go to the gallery next week after the FIXATIVE dries. Even though they'll be framed with glass, it's still watercolor and it needs to be sealed. 

I hope everyone will take time to breathe and free your minds from the recent and ongoing chaos and worries. I added a meditation class to my yoga class schedule. Luckily my portfolio is in safe investments that don't "move" too much with the market. My financial advisor called on Wednesday to reassure me that all was well. 

Have a safe and relaxing weekend. I hope your weather allows you to get out, walk and enjoy some spring flowers along the way.

@Shanus  our portfolio is like yours.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.   One of the things I pray for is  stability in our country.   Your meals sound delicious and easy to defrost on a night when you don't feel like cooking. 

Our weather here went from sun and 60s to about 1 1/2 inches of snow, WINDY, and COLD conditions all in  this week. Crazy!  

The spring flowers survived the snow and cold.  The sun today is perking them up.
