I would love to have, on my computer, the font used in books...a literary font (?).  I've been searching, but don't see one that's similar. Anyone know what it be called?

Palatino is a font often used in books.  Garamond, Times Roman, Century, Bodoni.

This is a typical book type.  Times New Roman is very common.  Most book type is serif type, which makes it easier to read.  Also paragraphs that are ragged right rather aligned on both sides make reading easier.

@Drythe  Sorry!  Woman Embarassed  Courier is a type that looks like a typewriter from the olden days typed it.  It has been around forever and I am pretty sure was designed for typewriters.
