   There are so many things going on and some are silly, like the lady ironing socks, and the boy walking the sea horse.  The cats  eating pizza look comfortable. Much going on here! Ducks in the sewer. Raccoon resting. 
      Today is 92 so far, sunny but not very humid. I'm drinking lemonade.  Keeping cool. 

       This morning I watered my shrubs well, last night also. The grass gets a bit in places but I have too much to water, unaffordable. Natures rain is much better than city water, maybe Monday it will rain. 
        I took newspapers to the store and Tony was enjoying salad with my son. That dog likes everything! Then I did a fast stop for creamer and ham.

    Snickers and I had lunch and afterwards she knew something was up. We had her veterinary appointment for her shot and the technician trimmed dew claws. She saw every girl and got petted lots. She's napping and will get a small pain medication with her dinner. Small dogs get the same amount of vaccine as large, and the last one hurt. I always watch dogs after shots, etc. 

     I haven't seen my bird today at the birdhouse. Or last night. I'm afraid to look inside it. Sun made it hot  and I haven't seen any baby birds. I'll leave it awhile longer then toss it out.  It was a cheap one on sale. I might get a real bluebird house next Spring. No more in window boxes until they're painted whenever it's cool enough now. 
      My older granddaughter comes Sunday night with the 4 kids, whew! Glad they aren't staying here. 
       This weekend is our Summer Lake day with swimming, boating, concerts, food trucks, games, a parade and breakfast. Two days of hot fun! We used to go and once got chiggers sitting in the woods. My son's band played one year. Now I stay in air conditioning!  ...Maybe a dip in the pool early....
