This is one of my favorite hymns and I have a plaque in our living room with the words. God's mercies are new every day and I see that with many of you in the various circumstances you face.
Update from earlier post: Ed and I went to see the wheelchair carrier this morning and he made the decision to purchase it. My niece's fiance owns an auto repair shop and he has agreed to install a hitch on the CRV. He plans to order the parts today and will make the installation next week.
There is more to this story! The wheelchair carrier was ordered and installed for Donna, my "sister/niece" in 2023 and we were unaware of this. She only used it once (locally) because she was on full time oxygen and was hesitant to travel far in the event her oxygen ran low or out. Thus, the carrier is obviously new and was stored at a friend's home. It's been there for eight plus months. Donna died in mid-December 2023. Both Ed and I were very close to her and this gives him/us a closer connection to her memory. It also proves to us that God works in mysterious ways for people of faith. Each time we use the carrier for transport Donna will be in our hearts and minds and for this we are so grateful.
