@Sweet Caroline 1 & all: I also watched the women's artistic swimming program. I had the same reaction to their swim costumes at first. Perhaps if the suits covered more they would need to be adjusted due to all the lifts and jumps. The water has quite a pull on fabrics.
In college I was in the Aquadic dance group. It was a small pool and we had to wear their swim suits that were terrible. There was no shape to them and they stretched when wet. We were unaware until in the pool
We were doing a routine dressed as tigers to the song "Toy Tiger" we stood on the edge holding hands up like paws then jumped in. I could feel my swimsuit stretching as I swam doing circles and jumping (but thankfully not high lifts back then!) After we left the pool I looked in the mirror and paint on my striped bathing cap had washed mostly away. The ears drooped! My swimsuit was stretched thin and baggy.
We all laughed at our appearance and our coach changed requirements.

Hi all,

Cloudy and rainy here. I got my errands ran yesterday, five tasks and it was grueling for some reason. I didn't feel up to par. I went to bed very early. Had weird dreams all night. Sarah has today off but doesn't look like a lake day unless Mr. Sun comes out strong. I have had a lot of company lately, Sarah's friend was just here and Bijou is terrible about jumping all over their legs. I will keep correcting him but he is a stubborn pup.

I've been enjoying more Olympics with the girls back home. @Sweet Caroline 1 I was a bit taken back about attire in women's beach volleyball too but it is one of my favorite sports to watch and didn't see anything xrated in the games I watched. I probably missed the "show" you saw. Sports attire in both sexes sometimes leaves nothing to the imagination. I love watching it probably because I love watching tennis too although my favorite stars there have long retired. I would to be in Paris in person but I will have to settle for ordering Authentic Gourmet Croissants from the Q, I love them but they're very pricey although cheaper than a trip over the Pond. I missed the artistic swimming, wished I would of seen that one. I saw the women's team won silver yesterday in that event. They are talking about it now on tv, wish they'd show a clip of their performance.

have had some heavy rain squalls since yesterday afternoon roll thru-most have been real quick soakers and gone.

Hey @1Snickers, I was watching the artistic swimming, and when the girls were coming out of the water, unknown to them, their swimsuits had moved over on the front,exposing half of their parts. If I were made to wear those suits, I wouldn't shave my bits. That oughta teach um!

I bet you had a lot of fun being in the Aquatic dance group. You've had a lot of fun experiences. I love it when you share your great memories.
