Junior in high school.

I loved listening to R&B, Motown, Rolling Stones, Cat Stevens. I remember picking up my best friend and driving to school listening to Jim Kerr on WPLJ.

I don't remember that particular song (I was 9!), but I do remember Oh Girl (love that song!) and watching Soul Train Saturday mornings when I could get control of the TV from my older sister!

I think I watched both, Seasme Street AND Soul Train! I was 9 in Puerto Rico, where we spoke Spanish and English was a subject matter in school, and Seasme Street was unusual programming with its great graphics and muppets. I enjoyed it though it was targeted to a younger audience. Unlike anything else on my TV then.
