My daughter has one, 10 years old. Great car in all ways. I would get one but there is not a dealer near me. I would strongly recommend.

Nope, when I purchase a car I go for quality, not just that it is made in America. Toyota puts out a great product and will continue to support them.
One of the worst trucks we ever owned was a FORD 150 truck. It was a POS. Swore us off of FORD forever.
Fix Or Repair Daily, Found On Road Dead says it all right there.
Oh, and the Rav4 Hybrid is assembled in Kentucky.

@ECBG Here's my Rav 4 story --
In May 2001 the owner of the auto repair shop we still go to, went to auto auctions and found a 1998 grey Rav 4, manual trans, luggage rack on top. I tested it and was sold. We had and still have dogs so it's great for them too. It's now 2023 and I'm STILL driving it! Still in good shape although I'd love to get it repainted. I don't drive that much and have always been within 10 miles of my work when I did. Repair-wise, I've not needed to have repair work done on it (I do have every receipt for everything including preventive maintenance.)
Would LOVE another used one but why? BTW - I traded in my Toyota Corolla for the Rav which I also bought used and had it for a few years too.

What Toyotas Are Made in the US and Where?
Toyota cars have been manufactured in America for more than 35 years despite being a Japanese brand. There are currently 10 factories dispersed throughout the country, employing more than 470,000 workers. If "Made in America" is a consideration for you when purchasing a new vehicle, don't shy away from these popular Toyota brands.
How many employees are working at Ford Motor Company in Mexico?

Thank you.
With my sciatic nerve issue in my left hip, it is beyond hard to get in DH's 4 Runner; they made it several inches longer and about 2 inches higher. If you only saw where we park, it's so tight. A backup nightmare with a 15 ft drop, cameras or not. I have driven my classic 4 Runner since it was new, and love it, but I'm not 30 any longer.

I'm on my third one. The one I have now, I purchased new 2.5 years ago. With each one, I've noticed they shrink in size a little but that's probably true of most vehicles and it's never been an issue for me. I'm sure your 4Runner probably sits higher than the RAV4 if that would matter to you.
I choose Toyota for their reliability and quality and I've not been disappointed yet. Good luck.
