Shopping and found out-duh- that rain checks are not being given. I think it has to do w/not knowing when these products will be available.

This was at our local Meijer.

In the early months of the pandemic, most supermarkets here discontinued rain checks. At least they still had weekly ads / sales.

Now, however, most have resumed their rain check policies.

Wow, I haven't heard that term "rain check" for a few decades.

Reminds me of times before computers!

Our Safeway stores still give rainchecks.

Pickup for sure won't do a rain check.  They just leave it off the order.

I havent\'t thought but there haven't been any rain checks since last winter when this virus thing hit.  I have my groceries delivered and there we used to get rain checks when they didn't have something.

Publix started no rain check or returns in April and to my knowledge still in effect.

I wanted to "exchange" a 6 pack applesauce (bought wrong one) no exchanges even with receipt.

Although, they do take returns if food or item is bad.
